The Poway Democratic club celebrates 20 years of advancing Democratic values and supporting fair, responsible, and inclusive candidates. Join us as we honor the leaders, volunteers, and members who have kept the movement alive and thriving!
Dr. Weber was nominated by Governor Newsom to be California’s 30th Secretary of State in 2020 – and she was confirmed by a bipartisan majority of both houses of the California legislature in January 2021.
Dr. Weber earned three degrees from UCLA, including her Ph.D., at the age of 26, and was one of the youngest-ever professors at San Diego State University, where she helped found the Africana Studies Department.
